Dr. Casimir Dunleavy runs the firm’s field measurement practice from Secaucus: the surveys made with the PSI-FIELD MONITOR, the calibration bench and the meters every technician carries.
He trained as a geophysicist and spent ten years measuring very weak natural electrical fields in the ground for a mineral survey company before the firm hired him in 2003 to prepare its filing with the newly opened Turing Registry. The PSI-FIELD MONITOR was licensed as TR-01993 the following March, and he has managed the instrument, its method and its renewals ever since. The latest renewal was approved in March 2026.
He designed the FM-7 field meter, which replaced the FM-6 in 2019. He is readable.
His own interest is in the readings that do not behave: the small number of surveys in which every point in a building declines steadily, day after day, as if the equipment in it were getting older. The firm records these as instrument faults, and Dr. Dunleavy keeps copies.
