Notice on impersonation

People sometimes send messages in the firm’s name, usually to obtain passwords for the Intranet Suite. This is how to tell that a message is not from us.

The firm will never

  • send you a link to reset a password, or ask you to type a password into any page;
  • ask for your password by email, text message or messaging app;
  • telephone you to ask for your password. You telephone us, and we confirm it;
  • send you a password except on a card, in a sealed envelope, by its own courier;
  • send you advertisements, for anything, including aerosols.

If in doubt

What to do

Do not click anything. Telephone the support desk, +1 212 014 0171, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern, and read the message to the representative. If it is not from us, the representative will tell you so.

Unsolicited messages

Some clients report receiving advertisements, apparently in connection with the firm, for a spray product that claims to restore freshness to rooms and objects. They are not from the firm. The firm has no interest in the product, has never been able to identify its maker, and asks clients not to use it unless directed.
