Staff mail at Frothly, the research institute in San Francisco, now runs on the Runciter Associates Intranet Suite 2.0, build 4471. The firm retired the institute’s old file server this morning and has started a pilot group of seven.

Temporary passwords were delivered by courier on Friday. Password resets are handled by telephone by the support desk in New York, during business hours.

The installation was carried out at a considerable discount. The firm’s chairman, who is the institute’s treasurer, declared his interest in the firm to the institute’s board in 2009, and the declaration remains in force. The contract was signed on 15 September.
